Privacy policy

Hunt Games ("we", "the site") is an independent fan project published at hunt-games.com, and is the index for every wiki in the Hunt Games network. This policy covers this index page only. Each game wiki under hunt-games.com is built and deployed separately and may publish its own privacy policy at its own subdomain — check the site you're on if you followed a link from here.

The short version

This site is a set of static pages. There are no accounts, no logins, no comments, and no newsletter. We do not ask you for personal information anywhere on this index.

Information we collect

Information you give us

None, unless you choose to email us. If you do, we receive whatever you put in the message and keep it only as long as needed to reply.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider processes standard server and network request data — IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, timestamp — as an ordinary part of delivering the page to you and protecting the service from abuse. We do not use these logs to build profiles of individuals.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which entries in the index get used. It sets cookies and reports aggregate usage — pages viewed, approximate region, device type, referring site. We have no interest in identifying individual visitors and do not attempt to. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking the script in your browser or an extension.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads on this site. AdSense and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve ads based on your visits here and to other sites, measure ad performance, and in some cases show ads based on your interests. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Ads Privacy & Terms. You can review or turn off personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of participating vendors generally at aboutads.info.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. The analytics and/or advertising providers described above set their own cookies; blocking them does not affect anything on this site. Nothing on the site depends on cookies to function.

Outbound links

Every card in the index links out to a separate site — either another Hunt Games wiki on its own subdomain, or (rarely) an external reference. Once you follow a link you're on that site's property and its own privacy policy applies. We don't control what those sites collect, and following a link from here doesn't send them any information about you beyond the ordinary referrer your browser already sends on any click.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR in the EU/UK and the CCPA in California — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to it. Because this site holds essentially none, most such requests are satisfied by explaining that there is nothing to return. Data retention and security

We do not maintain a database of visitors. Server logs are retained by the hosting provider under their own schedule. The site is served over HTTPS.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the effective date above changes with it. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
